Family Ties
Elena (Nina Dobrev) asks Stefan (Paul Wesley) to escort her to the town's annual Founder's Party. Vicki (Kayla Ewell) gets Jeremy (Steve R. McQueen) to ask her to the party, then accuses him of trying to hide their relationship from his family. Zach (guest star Chris William Martin) reveals a useful family secret to Stefan. At the party, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) tells Elena a story about the Salvatore family's past, leaving Elena with questions that Stefan refuses to answer. Finally, Stefan takes action to get Damon out of his life for good.

Elena tries to ignore Bonnie's warnings about the disturbing vibes she got from Stefan. Mr. Tanner reluctantly lets Stefan join the football team. Elena invites Stefan and Bonnie to dinner, hoping that the two will bond, but the evening is disrupted by the unexpected and unwelcome arrival of Damon and Caroline. Finally, the town is shocked by an act of violence.

NIGHT OF THE COMET
As Mystic Falls prepares for a festival to celebrate the passing of a comet, Vicki (Kayla Ewell) is in the hospital recovering from the attack she can barely remember. Stefan (Paul Wesley) goes to the hospital and tries to use his abilities to make sure Vicki doesn't remember what really happened, but his attempt is cut short when Vicki's brother Matt (Zach Roerig) arrives. Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) continues to struggle at school and with his feelings for Vicki. At a parent/teacher conference, Mr. Tanner (guest star Benjamin Ayres) makes Aunt Jenna (Sara Canning) feel that she is failing as a surrogate parent, especially when it comes to Jeremy. Elena (Nina Dobrev) decides to go to the Salvatore house to talk to Stefan, but finds his charming brother Damon (Ian Somerhalder) instead. Damon reveals surprising information about Stefan's past, and when Stefan arrives home, Elena is confused and embarrassed to realize that he isn't happy to see her there. Meanwhile, Vicki's memory of the attack begins to come back to her.

As the school year begins, Elena and her friends are fascinated by a handsome and mysterious new student, Stefan Salvatore (Paul Wesley, "Fallen"). Stefan and Elena are immediately drawn to one another, but Elena doesn't realize that Stefan is hiding a dark, deadly secret – the fact that he's a vampire. Fresh blood for vampires and their followers
The undead are alive and thriving, with still more movies ('Twilight' sequels, 'Dark Shadows') and TV shows ('The Vampire Diaries') coming to feed an unholy hunger.
Forget the garlic, the crucifixes, the security of daylight. Nothing is holding the vampires at bay these days. With the wild popularity of movie, TV and literary properties including "Twilight" and HBO's hit series "True Blood," the bloodthirsty undead are dominating the pop culture landscape in ways Count Dracula could have never imagined, and the trend seems unlikely to abate any time soon.
"The Twilight Saga: New Moon," the second film adaptation of the popular series of novels, is set for release in November, with the third installment to follow in June 2010. "True Blood," drawing some of HBO's largest audiences since "The Sopranos," concludes its second season on Sunday. Now, the CW network is taking a stab at the genre with "The Vampire Diaries," which premieres Thursday.
"Vampires are the bad boys," says series co-creator Kevin Williamson in trying to explain their popularity. "They're dangerous, but they're also just sexy and they can protect you. You can challenge them. There's so much there -- epic love, epic romance, epic epic! Everyone wants their life to be epic."
He admits, though, that he was somewhat skeptical at first, well aware that his new show will be compared to "Twilight." And there are plenty of similarities: Small-town girl meets good-guy vampire, falls head over heels, conflict ensues.
But Williamson said that it's where the action goes after that point that he found particularly intriguing, and the creative possibilities ultimately convinced him to say yes. Well, that and the fact that vampire stories are just plain cool.
And they appear to be here to stay, at least through 2012. Tim Burton is crafting a "Dark Shadows" movie starring Johnny Depp that is set for release in 2011, and there's also a talked-about cinematic reboot of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" aimed for the following year.

Disengage your brain for 'True Blood's' finale
We're used to top TV dramas evoking elegant meals, six-course affairs full of rich textures and witty constructions. We know we'll usually need time to intellectually digest these savory feasts.
No such time is needed for "True Blood" (which, after a Labor Day weekend break, airs its Season 2 finale 8 p.m. Sept. 13 on HBO). "True Blood" isn't a carefully assembled feast. It's a jam-packed, all-you-can-eat buffet served with a side of crazy.
That recipe -- which creator Alan Ball has effectively tweaked since the show debuted last year -- has turned the populist vampire drama into a huge hit: The Aug. 23 episode of "True Blood" attracted 5.3 million viewers, a figure that doubles when repeats are added in. Those are smoking-hot numbers for a premium cable channel.
Halfway through the show's increasingly addictive second season, I realized the mistake I was making with "True Blood." I'm not trying to insult the show by saying it's no "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" or "Angel," but it isn't. There's no deeper meaning here. Metaphor, schmetaphor.
Sure, most of the vamps on the show, most notably the devilishly charismatic Eric (Alexander Skarsgard), are sexy, hot rebels doing whatever they want with whomever they want. There's no denying the appeal of those hedonistic appetites in these stressful times.
But "True Blood's" attempts at more obvious metaphors -- the depictions of the vamps as an oppressed minority and the portrait of their opponents as repressed hypocrites -- have generally been clunky and unsuccessful.
The show excels as a "Perils of Pauline serial, but one with lots of sex and crazy shenanigans in the woods. "True Blood" works best as a suspenseful beach read come to vivid, Southern Gothic life.
The show mostly defies analysis, intellectual probing and the search for subtext. As Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) put it, "The time for thinking is over." Exactly.
Every Sunday night, it's a chance to turn off your brain and enjoy a show that jams four or five episodes' worth of incident, plot and jaw-dropping moments into 50 minutes.
Part of the reason "True Blood" is such a mass hit is that its characters are easily recognizable types: Newbie vamp Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) is the awkward yet fetching ingenue, Eric is the sexy stranger with a dangerous streak, Maryann (Michelle Forbes) is the crazy aunt, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) is the tart-tongued cousin and Bill is the slightly befuddled father figure. The recently introduced vampire queen Sophie-Anne ( Evan Rachel Wood) is the kind of mischievous diva you can find in any number of Bette Davis films.
How will the season end? Will the finale be a train wreck full of dangling story threads and plot holes? Sure, why not?
I don't expect elegant resolution from "True Blood." I expect an exhilarating, messy spectacle.
And you can count on one thing: There will be blood.

From battling addiction to vampire blood to getting mixed up with a fanatical religious group and then sleeping with the preacher’s wife, Ryan Kwanten’s True Blood character, Jason Stackhouse, is always getting into trouble on HBO’s hit show. Luckily for the 32-year-old Australian actor, who has lived in Los Angeles for seven years, he’s nothing like his rural Louisianan alter ego. “We look the same to a certain degree,” he jokes. “But my jeans aren’t as tight.” Before True Blood’s finale on Sept. 13, which Kwanten calls “the amalgamation of pretty much the entire season,” the actor spoke with PEOPLE about his character, Louisiana cooking and how he stays so darn ripped! –Aaron Parsley
Congrats on the success of True Blood. How does it feel?
It’s is not something that you set out expecting [because of] the amount of factors that have to fall into place for a show to even be picked up … True Blood was already a pretty tasty cake before and then now it’s just a nice little cherry on top.
Do you notice a difference between when the first season aired and now?
I’ve really noticed a difference in how people are aware of the show and of me. It’s certainly a new thing to me.
Were you familiar with the Sookie Stackhouse books before you started playing her brother Jason?
It was only after I got the role that I started reading the books to catch up with it, but even then [creator] Alan Ball made us aware that it wouldn’t be following word-for-word, story-for story with the books.

Harris' Cameo on True Blood
Now we have all heard about the cameo appearance of Charline Harris,writer of the Sookie Stackhouse novels, in season 2. Well everyone we finally will get to see her at Merlotte's this coming Sunday!! If it was not for her we would not be able to enjoy (obsessively) the brilliant wonderful show True Blood or its characters!!

As I’ve said elsewhere on the board, last Friday (June 19) I spent an afternoon on the set of “True Blood.” I enjoyed the experience, of course, and it was great seeing Alan Ball, his wonderful henchmen Christina Jokanovich and Gianna Sobol, writer Alexander Woo, director Michael Cuesta, and some of the wonderful actors who make up the cast: Rutina Wesley, Sam Trammell, Carrie Preston, Chris Bauer, Patricia Bethune, and Todd Lowe.
However, though I already knew that there was a crew to support all the actions in the show, I hadn’t realized how many people there were. It was amazing to see everyone who works behind the scenes. There were so many of them, and they work so hard. Makeup artists, hair artists, light men, sound men, continuity people . . . the list goes on and on. Everyone knows what to do, and somehow it all gets done; taking all these people working at the same moment to get one little bit of film.
It was a very interesting afternoon, and I hope I didn’t get in the way too much. I actually spoke a line, but it may end up on the cutting room floor. I almost hope so. I’m no actress. I think the brief time I spend on the set was really illuminating, and it was certainly a fascinating afternoon. I appreciate them putting up with me.
I was there most of the afternoon, though only an hour or so was taken up with shooting my scene. I ate lunch with Alan, talked to the cast when they weren’t working, had my makeup and hair done, watched the shooting on video, and toured the set of Sookie’s house.
I am no actress. But since I was in the scene with Sam, I just felt I was talking to him, and that made it much easier.
The writer of the episode, Alexander Woo, actually wrote that line down so I could remember it. I have to see things before I can learn them.

How’s life as a blonde?
It’s very high maintenance.
It must be…
Yeah it turns out my hair grows really fast and I have really dark hair naturally so, you know, this even the tiniest bit of roots, not okay. But now that we’re wrapped it’s okay because I’m not suppose to look like a natural blonde but not really a fan for sitting still for the hairdresser once every ten days for a couple hours. Makes me feel really vain and nutty.
Do people treat you differently?
It’s such a cliché but yes. I really didn’t think that was going to be the case, but people stare at blonde girls. It’s funny. It’s bright and shiny and it catches the light. Like a magpie.
Do they think you’re less intelligent?
I sometimes get that sense, yes.
Why does the world like vampires so much right now?
The honest answer is I don’t know. I mean they’re dangerous and sexy and most films and TV shows cast very good-looking people which probably helps!
How is it working with your fiancé Stephen Moyer?
He’s great. He’s really talented, and so is every other member of our cast and crew and writing staff and directors I mean, we have, we have such an amazing group of people and it’s a real treat.
You’ve done a lot of racy scenes together. How is Alan Ball about directing those scenes?
He’s not usually around when we’re shooting that stuff. I don’t know if he feels less awkward about asking you to do things with someone that you know, you would optionally do things with. I don’t know. Again, this is the only way I have experience with the show but, our whole cast is really comfortable with each other as far as the sort of weird and emotionally scary and physically odd places that we go with it. There’s a comfort level with all of us that is really really good and really important and that goes for any kind of scene you know not just the sexy naked stuff, I don’t think that’s important.
Did you have any worries about doing the raunchy material?
I’ve done plenty of not particularly child-friendly work when I was less age-appropriate to do it. So maybe I’ve just never had conservative taste.
Do you work out?
Of course, you know, you do what you gotta do…
What do you have to do?
Okay well genetics were kind, so I’m not gonna say it’s the hardest thing in the world, but of course I work out. If you were going to do your job naked you would probably have very specific opinions about what you look like, as do most actors – particularly ones who take their clothes off on a regular basis or have little outfits that are this big at work.
We keep hearing about the sock (to cover the male actors nudity)…
But girls don’t have the sock. Girls have the patch.
The patch, is that glued?
No! (laughs) It’ s topstick, double-sided toupee tape.
That’s like glue?
No, that is not like glue. Glue would be messy and awkward. Topstick is also awkward but less messy. Yeah a modesty patch, or just the patch or the sock. I think they started calling it ‘the sock of destiny’ last season, I’m not entirely sure, I think that might have been a Ryan Kwanten coinage cause he was in little else for most of that season and if I’m not very much forsaken, I think he gave socks to all of the boys on the crew as a wrap gift. He had the wardrobe department make them which I thought was kind of hilarious.
How are you enjoying this crazy role?
I’m having a lovely time, thank you very much.
Is it difficult to have an on/off screen relationship with Anna Paquin?
Our relationship obviously started at the beginning of the show. We got together because we loved being together and created the thing in the first place. So I think this might be easier because the crew has grown up with us, watching us as a couple and we feel comfortable with them. So, we are able in some ways to explore an intimacy which maybe some people aren’t able to.
Was it love at first sight?
No, we both were absolutely single and we were doing this job and HBO puts us in the same hotel. We were the only two out of towners as everybody else lived in LA.
And there’s nothing else to do, right?
[Laughs.] That’s right. There was nothing else to do! No, we just had some time off so we started hanging out together and literally finished the pilot, went home and felt very strange not being together suddenly. And I think we were both really surprised about that. Really nicely surprised by that.
Is it hard not to talk about work non-stop?
That’s a good question. I’ve never thought about that. I don’t think we do. Certainly, I’ve got enough going on in my life that work is not my be -all-and-end-all and it certainly isn’t Anna’s. We do talk about that a lot. Of course we do, but it’s don’t think anymore excessively than any other couple.
Are you comfortable with all the racy scenes? Happy with your sock?
I love the sock! Everyone has got a different size sock, as you can imagine.
What size is yours?
I veer medium to extra large. No, it’s very funny, they brought in a selection of socks to try on and I don’t know whether they were doing it very sweetly, the costume department, like they brought in an extra-small one so that you feel really good. But I wasn’t the extra small which was very gratifying for me.
There’s a fair bit of raunch on the show.
I like the fact that sex is shown in our show, I like the fact it is shown to be true. We show lustful sex, we show loving sex, and then my character does the loving and lustful sex. We’re in a society where it’s ok at 7 o’clock in the evening to see 200 terrorists gunned down by Jack Bauer [on 24], but we can’t see one female nipple unless it’s on cable network and I think that’s ridiculous.
People are scared of nipples?
They can be quite scary can’t they? Especially of the very big ones that look like dustbin lids. But I’m very proud of our show, and that our show embraces it. It’s not a problem for me at all.

The honest answer is I don’t know. I mean they’re dangerous and sexy and most films and TV shows cast very good-looking people which probably helps!
How is it working with your fiancé Stephen Moyer?
He’s great. He’s really talented, and so is every other member of our cast and crew and writing staff and directors I mean, we have, we have such an amazing group of people and it’s a real treat.
You’ve done a lot of racy scenes together. How is Alan Ball about directing those scenes?
He’s not usually around when we’re shooting that stuff. I don’t know if he feels less awkward about asking you to do things with someone that you know, you would optionally do things with. I don’t know. Again, this is the only way I have experience with the show but, our whole cast is really comfortable with each other as far as the sort of weird and emotionally scary and physically odd places that we go with it. There’s a comfort level with all of us that is really really good and really important and that goes for any kind of scene you know not just the sexy naked stuff, I don’t think that’s important.
Did you have any worries about doing the raunchy material?
I’ve done plenty of not particularly child-friendly work when I was less age-appropriate to do it. So maybe I’ve just never had conservative taste.
Do you work out?
Of course, you know, you do what you gotta do…
What do you have to do?
Okay well genetics were kind, so I’m not gonna say it’s the hardest thing in the world, but of course I work out. If you were going to do your job naked you would probably have very specific opinions about what you look like, as do most actors – particularly ones who take their clothes off on a regular basis or have little outfits that are this big at work.
We keep hearing about the sock (to cover the male actors nudity)…
But girls don’t have the sock. Girls have the patch.
The patch, is that glued?
No! (laughs) It’ s topstick, double-sided toupee tape.
That’s like glue?
No, that is not like glue. Glue would be messy and awkward. Topstick is also awkward but less messy. Yeah a modesty patch, or just the patch or the sock. I think they started calling it ‘the sock of destiny’ last season, I’m not entirely sure, I think that might have been a Ryan Kwanten coinage cause he was in little else for most of that season and if I’m not very much forsaken, I think he gave socks to all of the boys on the crew as a wrap gift. He had the wardrobe department make them which I thought was kind of hilarious.
How are you enjoying this crazy role?
I’m having a lovely time, thank you very much.
Is it difficult to have an on/off screen relationship with Anna Paquin?
Our relationship obviously started at the beginning of the show. We got together because we loved being together and created the thing in the first place. So I think this might be easier because the crew has grown up with us, watching us as a couple and we feel comfortable with them. So, we are able in some ways to explore an intimacy which maybe some people aren’t able to.
Was it love at first sight?
No, we both were absolutely single and we were doing this job and HBO puts us in the same hotel. We were the only two out of towners as everybody else lived in LA.
And there’s nothing else to do, right?
[Laughs.] That’s right. There was nothing else to do! No, we just had some time off so we started hanging out together and literally finished the pilot, went home and felt very strange not being together suddenly. And I think we were both really surprised about that. Really nicely surprised by that.
Is it hard not to talk about work non-stop?
That’s a good question. I’ve never thought about that. I don’t think we do. Certainly, I’ve got enough going on in my life that work is not my be -all-and-end-all and it certainly isn’t Anna’s. We do talk about that a lot. Of course we do, but it’s don’t think anymore excessively than any other couple.
Are you comfortable with all the racy scenes? Happy with your sock?
I love the sock! Everyone has got a different size sock, as you can imagine.
What size is yours?
I veer medium to extra large. No, it’s very funny, they brought in a selection of socks to try on and I don’t know whether they were doing it very sweetly, the costume department, like they brought in an extra-small one so that you feel really good. But I wasn’t the extra small which was very gratifying for me.
There’s a fair bit of raunch on the show.
I like the fact that sex is shown in our show, I like the fact it is shown to be true. We show lustful sex, we show loving sex, and then my character does the loving and lustful sex. We’re in a society where it’s ok at 7 o’clock in the evening to see 200 terrorists gunned down by Jack Bauer [on 24], but we can’t see one female nipple unless it’s on cable network and I think that’s ridiculous.
People are scared of nipples?
They can be quite scary can’t they? Especially of the very big ones that look like dustbin lids. But I’m very proud of our show, and that our show embraces it. It’s not a problem for me at all.

Spike TV 2009 Nominies
Star Trek earned 17 nominations and tops the list of nominees for Spike TV's SCREAM 2009 Awards, an annual event honoring the best in the sci-fi, fantasy, horror and comic genres. Watchmen and X-Men Origins: Wolverine also found a lot of love from the special advisory board responsible for overseeing the selection of nominees, each earning 13 nominations. And HBO's sexy vampire series True Blood picked up 9 nominations including Best Villain (Alexander Skarsgard) and two nominations in the Best Actor category (Ryan Kwanten and Stephen Moyer).
Commenting on his nomination, Skarsgard said, "Everyone knows it's the villains who have the most fun. Thanks to the 'SCREAM' team and congrats to everyone at True Blood. This is very exciting for the whole show."

10th Book: Dead In The Family
Dead In The Family is the title of the 10th Sookie Stackhouse book by Charlaine Harris. On September 1 Mrs. Harris wrote on her blog:
I finished DEAD IN THE FAMILY Sunday, the last possible day I could finish it. My friend Toni is reading it now, and then I’ll send it to my editor, Ginjer. The concept of DITF was originally quite different from the book I ended up writing, but that often happens and doesn’t quite scare me like it used to. At first I thought DITF would be very episodic; it turned out to have a unifying theme and to have a crazy night of resolution. Of course, this may change once my editor has a read!
By the time I send a book in to New York, I hate it. Maybe I hate DITF a little less than others. I don’t know if that’s good or bad.
Finishing a book is like coming up out of deep water. It’s a relief just to breathe and look around and return to the land of the living. I’ve had a long list of things that needed to be done, and now I have time to do them.
Synopsis of Dead In The Family:
Sookie Stackhouse has finally settled into a relationship with the Viking vampire Eric, and her errant brother Jason seems to have his life in order, too. But all the other people in Sookie’s life – Eric himself, her former lover Bill, her friend and boss Sam – are having family problems. Eric’s maker shows up with Eric’s ‘brother’ in tow, the ailing Bill can only be healed by a blood sibling, and Sam’s brother’s marriage is about to take place …or will it? The furor raised by the coming out of the two-natured has yet to settle; some people are just not ready to sit down to dinner with a man who turns into a dog. And Sookie herself is still recovering from her last ordeal. She’s definitely improving, physically and mentally, but she’s always going to have some dark moments now. The werewolves tell her that there have been strange and ominous passers-by in the Stackhouse woods; now Sookie is about to come face-to-face with one of her more distant relatives …
The book will be available on May 27, 2010.

Anna Paquin on Sex with Eric
Anna Paquin has talked about her sex scene with Alexander Skarsgard in "True Blood".
In an panel for the TV series in Los Angeles, the actress explained how her character Sookie Stackhouse is sexually involved with another vampire, Alexander's Eric Northman, beside her lover Stephen Moyer's Bill Compton. "She drank his [Eric's] blood, so now she has really vivid sexual fantasies about him. I guess that's how it works," Anna elaborated.
She then reminded how similar thing happens after Sookie drank Bill's blood, saying "Because in season one after she drinks Bill's blood, she has a moment outside of his house... She's kind of sitting there by herself having a little touch and feel."

In terms of ratings, HBO's "True Blood" is starting to look like the "ER" of premium cable.
Alan Ball's vampire soap notched another series record Sunday night, attracting 5.3 million viewers, according to Nielsen data. It's the fifth consecutive week "Blood" has delivered a record performance for HBO.
More impressively, "Blood" saw its numbers soar 20 percent from last week. The series is up more than 30 percent vs. its performance just a month ago, when the July 12 episode averaged 3.9 million viewers.
Most cable shows tend to lose audience after their season premieres, since cable networks soak so much promotional effort into hyping launches.
Even network shows tend to premiere big then fall off a bit as the season wears on.
The exception to this rule is when a new show catches fire with viewers and starts benefiting from buzz and attention. ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," for example, added viewers during its freshman season.
The most famous modern example of a series exploding during its first season, however, is NBC's "ER." After a strong premiere in the fall of 1994, the show kept building steam, setting one Nielsen record after another as it pushed past the fable 40-share mark.
"Blood's" audience is nowhere near that of "ER's," of course, but the show's stunning ratings spike indicates it may be poised to move from cult hit status to genuine pop culture phenom.
Of course, "Blood" still has a ways to go before it matches HBO's signature series, "The Sopranos." At that show's apex, viewer tallies of 11 or 12 million weren't uncommon.

Southern Vampires
Vampires are more in than ever: After the roaring success of the Twilight series, True Blood is having the same effect, only on the small screen.
The HBO series is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries books, written by Charlaine Harris. She has already penned nine volumes on the series, which looks at the experiences and dark love of Sookie Stackhouse — played by Anna Paquin in the TV series.
Metro World News recently sat down with Harris to talk about the growing interests in TV and film vampires.
Q. You started the Sookie Stackhouse books back in 2001 before the big vampire craze. Why were you interested in vampires, and why have you dedicated a whole series to them?
A. The series is actually about the young human woman who is dating a vampire. I thought that would be a more interesting approach. It seemed to be that it would be interesting to write about characters who are so different from humans, who have seen so much history.
Why do you think the topic of vampires became so popular so sudden?
I am sure the Twilight series had something to do with it, but actually this has been building for the past ten years or so.
You write other series also featuring girls with superpowers. What interests you in these characters?
I don’t really think of them as having superpowers; they have more like a disability. Sookie is telepathic, and that is a great burden. Harper had to be struck by lightning before she became able to find corpses. Though she makes her living doing that, it’s not a pleasant way of life.
What makes a good book for you? What do you like to read in your freetime?
I love to be engrossed in the story the writer is telling. I love to read, and I read many, many writers. I read some mystery, I read some science fiction, I read a little romance and a little non-fiction.
How would your ideal vampire look like? What attracts people in vampires?
I don’t have an ideal vampire. I think people are fascinated by the eternal vigor of vampires, who don’t age.
How much do you read weekly? Where is your ideal reading spot?
I read three or four books a week. I can read anywhere, but I have a comfortable chair in our bedroom and one in our family room; both of these are good for reading.

Why We Love Him Forget IKEA. Skarsgård is America’s favorite Swedish import. “He’s big, blond, take-charge. If you have got hormones, you’re going to be attracted to him,” says Charlaine Harris, author of the books series on which the show is based.
Family Business The oldest of actor dad Stellan Skarsgård’s seven children, he hit is big in a Swedish film at age 13. “It’s tough to be famous that young,” he says. “It made me insecure and self-conscious, so I quit acting.” At 20, following a stint in the Swedish marines, Skarsgård gave acting another go, landing roles in “Zoolander” and Generation Kill. But the role he’d really love to play is dad. “I’m single. I grew up in a platoon of people. I don’t have a family, but it is something I really want.” That should be pretty easy for this smokin’ Swede to assemble. –Kate Hahn
