Quotes...............

Escape From Dragon House

Jason: I think I might'a od'd.
Tara: Oh, my God. On what?
Jason: V.
Tara: You're doin' V now?
Jason: It was my first time.
Tara: Where on earth did you come across V in this town?
Jason: Lafayette.
Tara: My cousin is dealin' vampire blood now? God damn idiot. Well, at least that explains why I walked in on you dancin' around in that Laura Bush mask yesterday, 'cause I gotta tell you, without a reason, that was some fucked up shit! All right, let me see it.
Jason: Huh?
Tara: How long have you had the erection?
Jason: Well, how do you know?
Tara: Um, I read. You're not the first vain-ass, body-conscious ex-jock to overdo the V and wind up with an acute case of priapism!

--------------------------------------------------

Sookie: This feels a little bit like what a vampire bar would look like if it were a ride at Disney World.
Bill: Well, don't get too comfortable. It tends to get more authentic as the night wears on.

---------------------------------------------------

Sookie: Penny for your thoughts?
Bill: I thought you liked not knowing what I'm thinking.
Sookie: Most of the time I do.
Bill: You won't care for it.
Sookie: That doesn't mean I don't wanna know.
Bill: You look like vampire bait.
Sookie: What's that supposed to mean?
Bill: I promised your grandmother no harm would come to you at Fangtasia tonight. I'm not sure I'm gonna be able to keep that promise with you dressed like that.
Sookie: So are you sayin' you think I look nice?
Bill: Doesn't matter what I think. This isn't a date. Remember?

------------------------------------------------

Eric Northman: Vår lilla djurpark börjar växa till sig. (Our little zoo is starting to grow)
Pam: Jag vet. (I know)

------------------------------------------------

Pam: Bill. Haven't seen you in a while.
Bill: I'm mainstreamin'.
Pam: Good for you. Who's the doll?
Bill: Pam, this is Sookie. Sookie, this is Pam.
Sookie: Pleased to meet you.
Pam: Can I see your ID?
Sookie: Oh. Sure. How funny. Who'd have thought? Getting carded at a vampire bar.
Pam: I can no longer tell human ages. We must be careful we serve no minors... in any capacity. Twenty-five, huh? How sweet it is.

Quotes................

Mine

Bill: I'm sorry you had to witness that... your visit was unexpected.
Sookie: What's Hep-D?
Bill: Hepatitis D is the only blood born pathogen to which we are susceptible. Malcolm must be furious.
Sookie: Hepatitis?
Bill: A mutation. Relatively harmless to human, oddly enough.
Sookie: I've never even heard of it.
Bill: That's because we've kept it out of the media.
Sookie: And it makes you sick for a year?
Bill: No. It just makes us weak for about a month or so. The biggest danger to us from Hep-D is being captured and staked during that time.
Sookie: Yeah... you don't want your weaknesses to be public knowledge.
Bill: Precisely.
Sookie: And what the hell did you mean, "Sookie is mine"?
Bill: I was communicating to the others that you are my human and therefore I was the only one who can feed on you.
Sookie: You most certainly cannot feed on me!
Bill: Well of course I can't, Sookie. But had they known that, they'd of considered you fair game and I wouldn't have been able to stop them from attacking you. It would be three against one. And Malcolm is much older than I am and quite strong.
Sookie: And... you and Diane dated?
Bill: We had sex once, just after she was made a vampire in the late 1930's.
Sookie: What? Gross. Bill, she so... they're all so...
Bill: Evil. Yes, they are. They share a nest and when vampires share a nest, they become more cruel, more vicious. They become laws unto themselves. Whereas vampires such as I, who live alone are much more likely to hang on to some semblance of our former humanity.

---------------------------------------------------

Sookie: God damn it Bill! How many times do I have to tell do not do that!
Bill: I'm sorry. It wasn't intentional. I just got here. I wanted to make sure you were safe.
Sookie: Why can't I hear your thoughts? Do you even have any thoughts?
Bill: Oh, I have thoughts... many life times of thoughts.
Sookie: Why can't I hear them?
Bill: I don't know. Perhaps it's because I don't have brain waves.
Sookie: Why not?
Bill: Because I'm dead.
Sookie: No, you're not! You're standing here, talking to me.

-----------------------------------------------------

Sookie: I think we need to stop seeing each other.
Bill: Why?!
Sookie: Because you don't breathe. You don't have any electrical what ever it is. Your friends would like nothing more than to rip my throat out and because vampires killed that preacher from the fellowship of the sun church and his wife and baby! You look me in the eye and tell me they didn't do it?
Bill: Human have killed millions up millions in senseless wars. I do not hold you responsible for that.
Sookie: Bill, night before last I had to bury my bloody clothes because I didn't want my grandmother to know I was almost killed and tonight I was almost killed again! Why on earth would I continue seeing you?
Bill: Because you will never find a human man you can be yourself with.

--------------------------------------------------

Malcolm: Well look. It's everyone's favorite buzz kill.
Diane: Hey baby.
Liam: Yo mister mainstream. Thirsty?
Bill: No.
Diane: Hungry for something else? I remember you having a very sizable... appetite.
Bill: The three of you will stay away from me and Sookie from now on.
Malcolm: I'm your elder. You have no authority here.
Bill: There are higher authorities.
Malcolm: I'm not afraid of Eric.
Bill: Higher than him.
Malcolm: When than she can speak to me.
Diane: She can suck on sunlight for all I care.
Bill: You know, you are doing nothing to help our cause.
Diane: Not everyone wants to dress up and play human, Bill.
Liam: Not everyone wants to live off that Japanese shit they call blood. As if we could.
Bill: We have to moderate our behavior now that we are out in the open.
Malcolm: Not everybody thinks it was such a great idea and not everybody intends to toe the party line.

-----------------------------------------------

Bill: Sookie, don't ever sneak up on a vampire. What are you doing here?
Sookie: All right, here's the deal... and this is a little embarrassing'. I've never been with a man intimately, for all the reasons I told you about. But... I feel things when I'm with you that make me think and... I know this could be a huge mistake. One I will regret forever, but it feels like you're the one that I'm supposed to, you know... do it with. And... I'm really nervous about that... and frankly I'm scared to death of you. So can we just get it out of the way already so I can relax and get a good night's sleep?
Sookie: Just... just don't bite me, Okay?

Quotes.......

First Taste

Sookie: Do I taste different from other people?
Bill: Yes. What are you?
Sookie: Well, apparently I'm not dead. What I am is telepathic. I can hear people's thoughts.
Bill: Even mine?
Sookie: No. That's why I like you so much. I can't hear you at all. You have no idea how peaceful that is after a lifetime of "blah, blah, blah."
Bill: May I ask you a personal question?
Sookie: Bill, you were just licking blood out of my head. I don't think it gets much more personal than that.

------------------------------------------------------

Bill: There must be some people who know about your talent.
Sookie: Only the people closest to me. But we never talk about it. I do my best to stay out of their heads. Over the years, I've learned how. I figured it's kind of unethical to listen into my family, my friends, my boss. They know. Other people suspect or they they think I'm psychic. Most people just think I'm crazy.
Bill: What does it sound like?
Sookie: It sort of like a stream of consciousness. It's gets weirder when people are made or upset. Sometimes... sometimes it's just images... I should be gettin' home. Wow, I'm completely healed.
Bill: You are.
Sookie: Do doctors know that V juice can do this?
Bill: No and we wanna keep it that way... I should walk you to your car.

----------------------------------------------------

Sookie: How old are you? Am I allowed to ask that?
Bill: I was made a vampire in 1865, when I was thirty human years old.
Sookie: Wow, you look older than that.
Bill: Life was harder then.
Sookie: Were you in the Civil War?
Bill: I was.
Sookie: Would you be willing to come and talk to my grandmother's club? It's mostly a bunch of old people who had family in the war. They call themselves Descendants of the Glorious Dead.
Bill: The glorious dead? There is nothing glorious about dying in a war. A bunch of starving, freezing boys killing each other so that the rich can stay rich. Madness.
Sookie: I'm sure it was awful.
Bill: Would it make you happy if I did this?
Sookie: Oh, it would make my grandmother ecstatic.
Bill: Would it make you happy?
Sookie: Well... yes.
Bill: I'll do it then. I look forward to meeting your grandmother. When may I call on you?
Sookie: I'm off work tomorrow.
Bill: Just after dark than.

-----------------------------------------------------

Sookie: Well, since you're here...
Sookie: What's wrong?
Bill: You have to invite me in. Otherwise, it's physically impossible for me to enter a mortal's home.
Sookie: Seriously? Well come on, try.
Bill: I can't. I can't even try.
Sookie: That is so weird! Oh Bill, won't you please come in?
Bill: Thank you.
Sookie: So, if I were to withdraw my invitation, would you have to leave?
Sookie: I'll have to remember that.

---------------------------------------------------

Sookie: You said you could glamor somebody into letting you bite them? What is that? Hypnosis?
Bill: Kinda similar. All humans are susceptible to it.
Sookie: Have you ever done it to me?
Bill: No and I never will.
Sookie: Really? Try it.
Bill: No. I don't feel comfortable with that.
Sookie: You chicken?
Bill: Sookie?
Sookie: Yes?
Bill: Can you feel my influence?
Sookie: No! Not a bit! Sorry.
Bill: Sookie, this is very strange.
Sookie: You don't like not being able to control people, do you? That's not a very attractive trait, Bill.
Bill: Human are usually more squeamish about vampires than you are.
Sookie: Who am I to be squeamish about something out of the ordinary?

Quotes....

Strange Love

Tara: Uh-uh do... do not snap at me. I have a name. And that name is Tara. Ain't that funny a black girl being named after a plantation. No it ain't funny at all. In fact it really pisses me off that my momma was either stupid or just plain mean. Which is why you better be nice if you plan on getting a drink tonight.
Customer: Sorry.

-----------------------------------------------------
Gran: Wonder how much one would charge for something like that?
Jason: A thousand bucks.
Sookie: See, now that just makes me sick.
Gran: I know. What kind of cheap woman could ever do something like that?
Sookie: No, it makes me sick that they're getting a thousand bucks to lay there and do nothing while I bust my ass for ten bucks an hour plus tips.

-----------------------------------------------------

Lafayette: You look like a porn star with that tan and pink lips... You gotta date?
Sookie: No. When I wear makeup, I get bigger tips.
Lafayette: Yes, girl. Lets here it! These damn redneck are suckers for packaging.
Sookie: And I get even bigger tips when I act like I don't have a brain in my head. But if I don't, they're all scared of me.
Lafayette: They ain't scared of you honey child. They're scared of what's between your legs.

------------------------------------------------------

Sookie: What can I get for you?
Bill: Do you have any of that synthetic bottled blood?
Sookie: No, I'm so sorry. Sam ordered some of it a couple years ago, but no one ever ordered it, so it went bad. You're our first [whispers] vampire.
Bill: Am I that obvious?
Sookie: I knew it the minute you came in. I'm surprised no one else seems to.
Bill: (referring to Sam) He does.
Sookie: Oh, don't worry about Sam. I know for a fact he supports the vampire rights movement.
Bill: How progressive of him.
Sookie: So, is there anything else you drink?
Bill: Well, actually, no. But you can bring me a glass of red wine, so I have a reason to be here.
Sookie: Well, whatever the reason, I'm glad you are!

-----------------------------------------------------

Bill: Aren't you afraid to be out here alone with a hungry vampire?
Sookie: No.
Bill: Vampires often turn on those who trust them, you know. We don't have human values like you.
Sookie: A lot of humans turn on those who trust them, too. [takes out a silver chain and wraps it around her neck] I'm not a total fool.
Bill: Oh, but you have other very juicy arteries. There is one in the groin that is a particular favorite of mine.
Sookie: Hey, you just shut your nasty mouth, mister! You might be a vampire, but when you talk to me, you will talk to me like the lady that I am!
Bill: You want to drink the blood they collected?
Sookie: No!
Bill: I understand it makes humans feel more healthy. Improves their sex life.
Sookie: I am as healthy as a horse, and I have no sex life to speak of, so you can just keep it.
Bill: You could always sell it.
Sookie: I wouldn't touch it.
Bill: What are you?
Sookie: Well, I'm Sookie, and I'm a waitress. What's your name?
Bill: Bill.
Sookie: Bill? I thought it might be Antoine, or Basil, or like Langford, maybe. But Bill? The vampire Bill!

You'll Be the Death of Me Promo

S1 Ep 12: You'll Be the Death of Me

Photobucket

AIR DATE: November 23, 2008
PLOT:
Jason sits in jail, telling Rene about everyone that will get his possessions. Hoyt will get his ‘lucky’ leather jacket. Sookie will get all of his money. And Rene gets his truck. Rene says he’s giving it back once Jason gets out. Jason hopelessly replies that they will never let him out after what he’s done. Rene says it ain't like he killed a bunch of innocent women and that if he hadn't done it, it was just a matter of time. He calls the women that were killed, fangbangers. Jason angrily objects to his grandmother as a "fangbanger." Sookie charges her way back to see Jason, telling him she wishes she'd gotten there sooner before he confessed to something he didn't do. She tells him to shut up because she's close to finding out who the real killer is. Rene in thought wonders if she knows all this, how come she hasn't gone to the cops and gotten her brother out of that cell? She snaps back that she has tried that and so far the cops have done didly squat to protect her and her family. She tells Jason about Drew Marshall and how he killed his sister Cindy. She hears Rene wonder why she just doesn't go to the cops and she tells him she doesn't even know what he looks like, but she's been inside his head. Not wanting to hear anymore, Jason calls for Andy Bellefleur to remove her. As she is being hustled out, she asks Andy if she got the fax of Drew Marshall. He says he knows nothing about a fax, and to why bother since he's got the real killer. She tells Andy he's a poor excuse for a cop and a human being and it's just a matter of time before everyone knows it.

Tara wakes up in a plush bed and sees a robe laid out for her. As she is coming out to the terrace, a man sets out her breakfast and Maryann joins her. Tara is figuring out she's not just a social worker. She is something more. Tara feels completely lost that she didn’t just totaled her car, she totaled her whole life. Maryann sees Tara's situation as an opportunity, that maybe life has just cleared out all the things that weren't working for her. Now she’s got room to rebuild. Decide exactly what she wants her life to look like and make that happen. Feeling slightly uncomfortable, Tara makes an excuse to leave, but Maryann says her clothes are not dry yet and they both know she's got nowhere to go. She says she just wants to help.

Making Tara's bed, a manservant, picks up her ringing phone. It's Sam. He hangs up and puts it in his pockets as she finishes making the bed.

As Sam finishes leaving Tara a message Sookie comes into work, telling him she plans to hire a PI to find out who Drew Marshall is and goes out to start her prep.

Jason gets a visitor, Orry Dawson. He's there on behalf of the Fellowship of the Sun church. Orry says what Jason did can’t be officially condoned by the church. He took the lives of four women. Women who had tainted themselves and their race. But still human women. They do recognize that even thought his methods may have been flawed, his intentions were pure. That it was a service to his race and to Jesus. He should be proud of it. The church has started a fund for Jason's defense. In the meantime, the man slips him some church literature and calls him a "brave soldier."

At Maryann's mansion, Tara walks out to the pool and excitedly jumps in with a cannonball and begins swimming around. She comes inside to find an enormous spread of food laid out. She hears a guitar being played and finds a young, attractive black man on the couch. He introduces himself as “Eggs” but his real name is Benedict. He's staying there until he gets back on her feet. "So, collecting stray black people, that's some sort of hobby of hers?" Tara asks. He laughs, saying that Mary Ann was right about her. She is funny. Eggs also reveals that he was told she crashed her car with a gallon of whiskey in her lap. Chagrined, Tara sits and fesses that it was cheap vodka. But he is not judging, stating that when Maryann found him he was a lot worse off than Tara. He calls Maryann a "miracle worker." He starts playing his guitar again and Tara tries to relax.

Outside, Maryann vibrates, with the hog munching on grass. She sits in a chair moving in place at hyperspeed. There is truly more to her than meets the eye.

Back at Jason’s house, Rene switches the radio station and is really enjoying the truck. He drives off to Merlotte's. As she is serving customers in the bar, Sookie hears Andy loudly telling the story of Jason's confession, but Sheriff Dearborne immediately corrects him, saying that Jason didn't exactly confess. Bud excuses himself. Rosie, who sitting next to Andy offers to buy him a beer and show her appreciation. Andy is eating up the gratefulness.

Thoughts and murmurs become even louder as Sookie hears everyone looking at her, judging for her for Jason's actions and condemning the family. Rene comes in and takes a seat, sitting nearby, but she hears nothing. She rushes up to Sam, telling him maybe she shouldn’t have come into work and that she needs to get out of there and those thoughts out of her head. He offers to let her lay down in his trailer and she declines. She says that she’s just going to drive around and not even get out of the car. Sam tells her to go, that he will cover her table. She gives him a hug, thanking him for everything.

Outside, Sookie gets in her car but it won't start. She tries a few more times, giving up as she vents her frustrations. Rene walks up, surprising her and asks if everything's OK. He offers to take a look, but later confesses he doesn't know much about cars. He offers to give her a ride home and when she says she can't be alone, will stay with her until Sam gets off work. Terry drives up, telling Sookie that he told Andy he's known killers and Jason ain't one. "No one ever listens to me, but they should," Terry says. As Rene closes Sookie's hood he glances at the cut wires.

Rene gives Sookie a ride and when he asks her if she can really hear what he's thinking, she hears him thinking that he should think about nothing. She tells him not to bother, you always eventually think of something. She tells him it's weird, but his thoughts don't have an accent. He says it must be hard living with her gift and she comments that you have no idea how sick and twisted some people are. She tells Rene that Jason is all she's got left, she's lost everyone. He hands her a tissue as she begins to cry. Rene says he's lost people too. It doesn't get easier, but you find ways to cope.

In a living room, Lisa and Coby are watching a tape of the crazy vampire having bondage sex with Maudette. Arlene walks in, stopping the tape, demands to know where they found this. Coby doesn’t answer as Lisa admits that it's Rene's and they found it in the garage. Arlene orders them to their rooms as she looks through the box of videos and finds a cassette on Cajun dialect for actors. She is utterly stunned.

As Sookie arrives home, she offers Rene some iced tea. As she goes into the kitchen, Rene looks around the house, noticing the rifle leaning against the fire place.

Lafayette busses tables and curses the half eaten food that he is throwing away. He tosses Rene's work vest to Sam that was left behind. Sam holds the garment and takes a sniff of it. He flashes to when he rolled around sniffing Dawn's sheets after she was murdered. Immediately, he recognizes the scent. Dropping the vest, Sam runs outside and asks Terry where Sookie is. He tells him she left with Rene about 23 minutes ago.

At her house, Sookie is preparing iced tea. As Rene stands in the doorway, watching, he fails to not think of nothing. Sookie than sees him thinking about Gran and how he came in to find her. After attacking Gran, he bursts into tears, saying she wasn't supposed to be there. Realizing that he is indeed the killer, she drops the pitcher of iced tea. Rene asks if she is alright. She tries to play it cool, telling Rene she's just jumpy these days and she’s going to get a mop. She calmly walks into the other room, looking back once. She picks up the gun, turning around, and aims it in his direction.

Rene advances a step and she pulls the trigger. Nothing happens. Holding up the shell casings, he tells her she's not going to shoot him. She tries again. Nothing. She hears him switch voices in his head, cursing, condemning her for sex with a vampire. Screaming, Sookie hauls off and bashes him in the head with the shotgun and he drops to the ground. She runs out of the house, tossing the rifle into the bushes as she heads for the cemetery through the woods. Rene gets up and goes after her. As she is running through trees, she has a vision of Drew finding out about the bite marks on Cindy's neck, belittling her for being a whore for vampires. She argues with him to leave and he attacks, strangling her with his belt. Sookie keeps running as Rene stops, screaming that he can feel her in his head. Sookie than sees Rene attacking Maudette, Dawn, and Amy as she slept next to Jason.

Sensing her terror and hearing her screams, Bill wakes up in resting place. He knows it’s daylight outside, but he has to do something because she is in trouble. Sam arrives at Sookie’s house and sees a belt, blood on the floor, and signs of a trouble. As he goes back out on the porch, he sniffs the air and takes off toward the woods for the cemetery. Bill unlocks the door of his resting place and goes out into the sunlight. It is like treading through fire. His skin immediately starts to burn as he walks.

Rene is running circles among the headstones, trying find where Sookie is hiding. Thinking to lure her out, he starts protesting that he didn't mean it. His thoughts begin list all the horrible things he's going to do to her. Sookie has taken refuge in an empty grave, trying not to make a sound. She than hears him assume that he must have lost her in the woods and should go back to check. Sookie cautiously turns to look over the edge, hoping he is gone. But he's standing right over her. Pulling her from the hole, he throws her against a gravestone, punching her in the face, and starts strangle to her. Bill, in extreme pain, still walks in the sunlight, all of his hair gone and his skin almost completely chared off. Sam, in dog form, comes running up and jumps on Rene, biting him in the neck. Rene throws the dog off and starts kicking it. He watches amazed as the dog, hurt, changes into Sam. He keeps kicking him, calling him a freak of nature. Bill, scorched nearby, can't make it to where Rene is still kicking Sam. He calls to Sookie as he falls down. She comes awake and grabs a nearby shovel. Sneaking up, she clobbers Rene on the back, sending him to the ground. Spitting out blood, he starts to get back up and grabs her ankle. Screaming again, she drives the shovel into his neck, almost completely severing his head.

Sam gets up behind her, dazed, but alright. Sookie, trying to catch her breath, sees a smoking body nearby and runs over. It’s Bill. His flesh is burnt black and he can barely move. With his last ounce of strength, he tells her he's sorry before collapsing. She cries over him as a naked Sam comes to help. Picking Bill up, they put him in the open grave and being covering him with dirt in an effort to save him.

Later at home, Sookie wakes up, her face black and blue. She finds Tara, Sam and Lafayette keeping visual over her. Sam says the hospital gave her pain meds and that she’s a little loopy. Tara begins to cry, saying that she would lose her stuff if anything ever happened to her. She says not to lose her stuff, that she is fine and asks them if Sam told how he saved her life. She explains how he turned into dog, but they thinks it’s the pain meds. She tells Sam to let people see the real him because there's nothing there not to love. "Right back at you," he says. Arlene comes in with an enormous bouquet of flowers. Seeing Sookie’s face, she burst into tears.

Sheriff Dearborne has just confirmed that Rene really did kill Amy as well as the others. He tells Andy the D.A. is dropping the charges. Andy is very upset, denying that it’s not true. But Bud tells him that it is and Rene nearly put Sookie in a body-bag as well. Bud tells Andy to let Jason go. Andy goes back to let Jason out, angry and cussing. Jason, who has been reading church literature all day wants a magazine. Andy unlocks the door as Jason asks if this is a joke. Andy barks out that it’s a fucking miracle.

Pacing, Arlene apologizes and pleads for forgiveness. She can't believe she didn't know. Sookie says no one did. Arlene professes that she brought him around her kids and slept in the bed every night with him and all that time, it was nothing but lies. Sookie says Rene kept that part of himself locked away in some dark corner of his mind. Arlene goes to Sookie, requesting that if she ever finds another man, she wants her to look inside his head and tell her everything that's in there. Sookie tries to let her know that it doesn’t work like that. Still, Arlene makes her promise to and than ask if Bill is going to be OK. Sookie begins to crumble, saying she doesn't think so, no, as Arlene tries to comfort her.

On the front porch, Lafayette says he’s going to head over to the bar. To make sure Terry's not p.t.s.d'ing all over his clam chowder, leaving Tara and Sam alone. Sam asks Tara where she's been, saying he left her five messages. She says she didn't get anything. She tells him she's glad he was there for Sookie. Tara says Sookie's right, he is a good guy and he deserves to get everything he wants, and so does she. Mary Ann pulls and Tara introduces them. But Sam already knows who Mary Ann is. Sam asks Mary Ann what she's doing there. She almost laughs, "Did you think I wasn't going to find you? You silly, silly dog," before leaving.

Arlene tells Sookie she should have known, because there were things he liked to do in bed that no normal man ever does. Jason comes in and hugs his sister tight. Seeing Sookie’s bruised face, he is furious, saying he can't believe he gave Rene his truck. When he says if Rene was still alive he'd kill him again, Arlene starts to cry again and leaves in a rush. He realizes too late that he shot his mouth off at the wrong time. Jason tells Sookie that he had a lot of time to think in jail. About how he's never done anything with his life but chasing women and booze. He says when he was in jail, he was saved and thinks the bad stuff happened for a reason. He just isn't sure what that is yet. He thinks he's meant to do something important with his life, and as soon as he figures out what it is, he's not going to screw it up. As he departs, he runs into the coffee table, declaring he’s OK.

At Merlotte's, Lafayette takes out the garbage in the back, complaining that the bags are all over the ground. As he is tossing it them in the dumpster, something unseen surges out of the trees, wigging him out. He jumps on top of the dumpster as it comes for him.

At lightning speed, something comes to Sookie's front door and rings the doorbell. She turns off the tv and gets up to open the door. She stands in shock as she sees that it's Bill. "You're alive," she says. "Well, technically, no." He says but he is healed and he has fed. He looks all better. She invites him in and they hug each other tight. Pulling back, he views her bruised face and starts to bite his wrist. She stops him. He insists that with out his blood it will take weeks for her to heal. She contends that she doesn’t care and that after everything she just needs to feel human right now. Bills says that he has failed her. She implies and is very grateful that he was willing to sacrifice himself to save her and states that her life is too short to be angry. They hold each other and kiss passionately.

Two weeks later

At Merlotte’s, that gang watches a news report that announces in the state of Vermont vampire marriage has been legalized. Arlene giddily taunts Sookie that maybe she and Bill will be able get married now. Back to being upset all over again Sam, interjects that he could throw them a party because it'd be cheap without food or drinks. Tara tells him he's about as subtle as a flying brick and starts quoting Maryann to him, which he couldn't care less to hear. Sam asks her if she's heard from Lafayette. She hasn't, but volunteers that this one time when Lafayette went to Marthaville for the night and ended up go-go dancin' in Palm Beach for like eight months.

Terry tries to smile for Arlene and sweetly tells her that people disappear all the time, but they're never really gone. The good parts stay put. She smiles back, telling him that she hopes he’s right about that. Then he tells her hair is "like a sunset after a bomb went off, pretty." Then he walks away, while Arlene is still enraptured.

Jason attends the Fellowship of the Sun church with Orry, where the preacher says they won't rest until they've brought God's light onto each and every "blood sucking abomination." The entire congregation starts chanting ‘Amen’ louder and louder as Jason gets more excited about it.

At the bar, deep in feeling sorry for himself Andy sits as he washes his sorrow with booze. Tara suggests that he head on home. He whines that his family used to own the entire town, even the land that the bar sits on. Sighing, she pours him one more drink and tells him that it’s his pity party. Drink up. Also that it's easier for her not to hate him, because that takes too much energy, and she’s saving hers for all the good stuff that’s coming her way.

Sookie serves Hoyt his food. He asks where Bill is and if they are going to celebrate. Blushing, she admits that they’re celebrating later. Hoyt says he'd marry a nice vampire girl if he could find one and asks if Bill knows any vampire girls his age.

At home, Bill plays the piano, waiting for Sookie. Suddenly, Jessica strolls in and plops down on the couch. She is followed by Eric and Pam. Bill demands to know what is going on and Eric replies that there are favors and there are... ‘favors’. Pam declares that Jessica is "extremely annoying." Bill is livid, repeating that they can't do this. They had a deal. Eric conveys that now the terms have changed. Jessica is his, unless he wants give him Sookie? Both have their fangs drawn as Eric affirms that it’s just a suggestion. Though a few nights with Jessica may change his mind. As Eric and Pam leave, they express in Swedish, O du ljuva frihet; meaning sweet freedom. Bill turns to Jessica, who has her fangs out as she asks who’s good to eat around here.

Back at Merlotte’s Andy is drunk and deep in self shame. Sookie hears him feeling sorry for himself, as she tries to get him to leave. She hears him thinking she must be happy that she was right about him failing and she smiles kindly, saying she's going to call his sister to pick him up and calling him Detective Bellefleur. This seems to lighten Andy’s mood.

In a hurried rush, Sam bolts into his office, opens the safe and starts shoveling bundles of cash into a garbage bag. We are left to ponder why he is doing this.

Out in the parking lot, a still drunk Andy is trying to find his car. Sookie and Tara chase after him, maintaining that the only thing he’s driving tonight is them crazy. Sookie stops and tell him that Portia is on her way to pick him up and to give her his keys. Andy stops and says he doesn't have them, that he left them in the car, right here underneath the light. Some s-o-b stole his car. Sookie, looking around, asks if he is sure this is where he parked it. Andy then argues that this whole town has gone to crap. Nobody use to go murder each other, stealing cars. That's what happens when you don't let a good cop do his job. Tara sees his car, not far away and points to the trees. Ain't that it over there? Trudging up to vehicle, Andy raps ‘that ain't where I parked.’ Tara believing him plastered, is not buying it. As they get closer, something is not right and the door alarm is going off. Andy walks up and opens the door as a legs fall out. He is in total distress. ‘That ain't mine. I swear!’ as the girls scream.

AIR DATE: November 16, 2008
PLOT:
Bill digs a grave as Pam watches over them, just in case Bill tries to kill Jessica, new-vampire before she goes to ground. Pam tells Bill, “you're romantic, you're sentimental”; and that he's a hero because he's a maker. She’s annoyed that he might do something to keep the little blood bag from joining their ranks. He than voices his doubts as to whether she was ever truly human. She kicks the girl into the hole and Bill climbs into the grave with Jessica. Pam begins to shovel dirt over them.

At Sookie's house, Sam leaves a message on Tara’s cell phone asking where she is, hopefully not in a ditch somewhere. Sookie comes in with blankets and prepares a bed for Sam on the couch. He asks about her vision from the bar and she concludes that couldn’t tell who the killer was, all she saw was images. And that his thoughts were red and black and all snarly. But there was something familiar about him, even though she didn't recognize who he was. She pictures a young girl, a waitress dying in his thoughts. Sam asks if she wants him to call Bill. Sookie thinks he isn't coming back. Bill would have felt how scared she was and still didn't come for her. Sookie asks if Sam has heard from Tara and no he hasn’t. He rubs her shoulder. She moves away, saying good-night. As she turns and leaves, Sam loads the rifle sitting by the mantle.

At her accident, Tara tells a police officer, Kenya about what really caused her to crash. She swears that she is an excellent driver. But one can not prepare for a naked lady and a hog in the middle of the road! That’s her story. Shaking her head, Kenya knows Tara is drunk and takes her into custody for drunk driving.

Jason and Amy begin to clean up what remains of Eddie. Jason believes Amy is totally out of her mind and tells her everything was going to be alright. They start screaming at each other as Amy says Jason was there the whole way and knew it was going to end badly. As he starts to clean he throws up and Amy tries to comfort him, telling him Eddie was a predator and already dead. She tells him not to let a vampire come between them. She says what they have is beautiful, as they sit in a basement surround by vampire blood and guts.

The next morning at Sookie's, Sam comes in to eat breakfast. Sookie doesn't want to wait for the killer to come for her. She's been searching the phone book, particularly the Yellow Pages. In her sleep, she remembered seeing a name on the woman’s uniform. Cindy, and she worked at a shop with the word "pie" in the name. Sam immediately knows the place. Sookie declares that she is going to investigate and Sam’s says he’s going with her.

Amy disposes of the bloody mess in the kitchen sink as Jason comes in, angry. He takes small vials out of the fridge, puts them in a trash bag, and smashes them on the counter top. Heatedly, he tells Amy he wants every drop out of his house and if she doesn't like it, she can pack her things and go. With that he leaves for work as she quietly says, I love you.

At the bar, with the news spouting the latest headlines over vampires and politics, Lafayette paints his toes nails. Angrily he observes his politician lover/ state senator, make an anti-vamp rights speech on the news. He asks Terry if he heard what they just said and he replies, “I can't listen to politicians no more. I get a seizure.” The reporters announce where the politician is speaking next and Lafayette tells Terry to cover his shift later. Amy comes in, looking haggard. Lafayette asks if Jason has dragged her into his b.s. She just smiles, takes a quick drink from the tap and goes back into the kitchen.

In Bunky, at the pie place, Sookie and Sam are getting nowhere the waitress, who appears to be witless. An elder man at the counter speaks up, saying he knows about Cindy. He tells them she worked there a few years before and was killed. The local police don’t have any suspects. He goes on to reveal that she has a brother, Drew Marshall. But he disappeared shortly after the murder. He also lets on that people thought she was carrying on with the vampires.

Inside the jail, allowed her one phone call, Tara calls her mom to come and bail her out with the Kenya looking on.

On the road crew work site, it’s quitting time and Jason tries to get Rene and Hoyt to go out and party. Hoyt asks why he wants to hang with them when he's got Amy. He thinks about it for a minute and then confesses that Amy is into V. Rene asks if she sleeps with vampires, too. Jason says no, she doesn't. Rene says "These things have a way of working out," and that they'll go out tomorrow.

In Bunky, Sookie and Sam visit the police station. Not having much luck getting anyone to help them, she over hears the cop thinking about his mistress. She tells Sam not to worry. The cop becomes insulting when he sees the vampire bites on Sookie's arm and refuses to help, saying good riddance to white trash. She ups the anty, suggesting that they will visit the library, find his home, and inform his wife of his affair. Also they will be contacting the Vampire League of America. Realizing he is caught, he sobers up, offering to fax a photo of Drew to the Bon Temps police.

At the politicians’ interview, Lafayette, dressed respectably, approaches to shake hands. He grins through intimidation, praising the man for taking a stand against vampires and gays and congratulating him for his views because, many things can happen to bring down a person such as him. He also warns him to be careful.

Jason arrives home surprised to find the table set with a candlelit dinner. Admitting to her that he was afraid she’d left him, he takes her in his arms. Amy says it was all her fault and she's sorry. She say's she’d do anything for him. Jason relents and they embrace each other.

During the night, Bill waits for Jessica to rise as a vampire. She claws her way out of the ground through the dirt. She looks around, hysterical and screaming, asking for help.

Sam and Sookie are on their way back to Bon Temps, bonding. Sam says he is a simple guy to which she laughingly replies, “What a load of horse pucky. Simple is one thing you are not.” She also asks him if he loves Tara. He says he likes her and cares about her, that she doesn't make it easy to love her. But they're just friends. Sam says he's not that easy to love either and Sookie tells him he's wrong. Sam asks if she loves Bill. She thinks she does, but where is he? If vampire politics are more important to him than her, she doesn’t know. She so mad at him, she could spit.

Jason unbuttons his pants and compliments Amy on her fantastic home cooked meal. She has something she wants to show him, but doesn't want him to get mad. She has saved the last drop of V. She talks about V being how they started their relationship, so that's how they should end it, to complete the circle. He’s not so sure as she goes to take the last drop, but then agrees to one last time.

As Jessica is trudging through the woods, Bill tries relentlessly to explain that she's a vampire now. She can't go home. At first she thinks of the things she'll miss. Her parents, her sister. No more belts, no more clarinets. She is ecstatic and starts celebrating. She thinks being a vampire means she can kill anyone she wants and there are a lot of people she’d like to kill. Bill rebuffs her saying that she cannot and has to mainstream. She starts to whine like a spoiled brat. He gives her a Tru Blood to steady her. Spitting it out after one swallow, she utters that it tastes terrible. She begins whining all over again that she’s so hungry and that he won’t let her do anything, and calling him the worst maker ever. Bill just stares, incredibly displeased.

At the jail, Lettie Mae has come to see Tara, but she's not there to bail her out. Lettie Mae tells her she won't let Tara come home. She thinks Tara's on the road to Hell and that she's a danger to her soul and salvation. She can't have her in the house. Tara points out she's the only reason she has a house. She put up with her mom beating her and taking her money and sending her to school dirty. And now she's turning her back on the one person who always stood by her. Tara tells her to leave. When her mother says she loves her, she says no, she does not, and never did.

At home, Jason and Amy lie in bed together. It looks like it’s raining on them. Climbing out of bed that appears to be in only half of a room, they run outside. Someone enters their house, wearing work boots. As they carouse gloriously through their V illusions, the intrudor approaches them as they sleep in bed. His face in not seen as he is wearing a hooded sweatshirt. He takes off his belt and wraps it around Amy's neck. In their dream, they dance and Amy doesn't know she is being strangled. In the V dream Jason, laughs, picking her up, twirling her around as she flies away. Later he wakes up next to her lifeless body. He is not aware of it at first and attempts to wake her by jumping on the bed. When she doesn’t stir, he looks closer and sees the ugly bruises on her neck. He cries, horrified that he killed her. He calls 911.

At Fangtasia, Bill has taken Jessica to Eric. Eric replies that she is Bill’s punishment, not his. Bill is desperate, acclaiming that Jessica won’t listen to him and it will take more time than he has to teach her to behave. Eric advises him to man up because she’s not even one night old. Bill states that’s not the issue as Eric asks Jessica if she wants to stay with her master. She doesn't want to and Eric commands her efficiently. Bill says he has urgent matters to attend to. Eric becomes agitated; asking if he means Sookie and Bill declares if anything were to happen to her that they would be without her helpful skills. Bill states that he would be in Eric’s debt and return the favor if he takes Jessica. Assuredly, Eric tells him he most definitely will.

At the jail, a woman, Mary Ann Forrester pays for Tara's bail. She doesn't know her. Tara assumes she's some kind of social worker. Mary Ann offers to take Tara home, but she does not want a ride. Mary Ann says Tara can come home with her. Tara makes sure that she's not a "Jesus person." She's about to leave when Tara stops her and agrees to go. They walk out to Mary Ann's extremely nice car. It was a gift. Andy Bellefleur pulls up and tells her to move her car. They drive off as Andy takes Jason in, exclaiming that he is surround by morons.

At home, Sookie and Sam watch TV on the couch. Sookie tells him she had a good day and Sam says the day she walked in looking for a job was probably the best day of his life. She smiles and they start to kiss. Just then, Bill comes in. He throw Sam off Sookie, across the room, and begins fighting him. She breaks it up, yelling at Bill for leaving her alone with no promise to come back and then attacking the one person who was left to protecting her. He asks if she knew what he'd done to return to her. At this point, she is so infuriated that she rescinds his invitation to be in her home. Crushed, he pleads with not to and with that he has to leave. She backs him out of the house and closes the door. Outside, he stand for a moment and leaves with out a word. In the living room, Sam still reeling, asks her to see what he's like. How can she even think about being with him. Piqued she half yells, "Sam, my living room's wrecked, I've got a killer, a vampire and a shape-shifter on my plate, right about now, I'm not thinking about being with anybody."

Mary Ann and Tara drive up to Mary Ann’s home and it is tremendous. Walking up to steps, she invites Tara in.

At the police station, Andy gloats, saying he knew Jason was the killer from the beginning. Jason is emotionally deflated and despondent. He says he doesn't remember what he's done, to any of them or care to even make sense of any of it. But they keep dying around him, so it must be him, right? He tells him he took V with Amy and when he woke up, she was dead. But they were alone, so he thinks he must have done it. But he doesn't know why, he loved her. Andy screams at him that he hated Dawn and Maudette, Jason denies it. Andy than accuses him of killing his grandmother, but Jason denies it. Ticked off, Andy says it’s the worst confession he's ever heard. But that's all Jason has. Near tears, Jason says he doesn't want to hurt anyone else and asks them to lock him up. As he is being escorted to a holding cell, the fax of Drew Marshall arrives at the police station and the secretary, Rosie carelessly covers it up with files as she gushes to a friend on the phone. But we see it is Rene.

Q&A

During the Q & A panel, series Creator Alan Ball (Six Feet Under) told the story of how he first came across the Charlaine Harris book series. He was waiting around for a dentist appointment, and had about 20 minutes to kill when the first novel, Dead Until Dark, caught his eye. He was hooked from the beginning. He then said that he went through to following books in the series “like crack.” “This wasn’t a book I would normally read, but I couldn’t put them down,” Ball confessed. Ball has a strong desire to stay true to Harris’ vision and spirit, but also added that it was important to flesh out the supporting characters from the book, and add extra stories in order to transform it into a viable TV series. The books are only told from Sookie Stackhouse’s (Anna Paquin) perspective, so there was some work to be done. One of the big changes was adding in the character of Tara, who doesn’t even appear until Book 2, as a main character in Season 1.

“There are some things from the books that aren’t going to make it onto the screen,” said Ball, “but there will also be things not from the books that are on the show that when you see them, your jaws will be on the floor.” Heading into Season 2, we’re also going to be experiencing the character of Maryanne (Battlestar’s Michelle Forbes), the mysterious and seemingly generous “naked with a pig” lady, even more. Without giving too much away, Ball stated that “she is trouble. She’s more trouble than anyone ever thought she’d be.” He also seemed to relish in the fact that her character “celebrates chaos and destruction” and will somehow play a part in “opening up a doorway to hell for everyone to get sucked into.”

What else do we know about Season 2? Well, as they did with Season 1, the writers will somewhat follow the corresponding Harris novel – this time around being book 2, Living Dead in Dallas. We know that it will incorporate a ton of the book, but also leave out some stuff in order to provide more of an overall story for each of the characters. Sookie and Bill (Stephen Moyer) are heading down to Dallas at the behest of their Vampire Sherriff, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) to help a vampire named Stan (Ed Quinn) find a missing bloodsucker. The rest of the characters will stay back home and deal with new hellacious creatures of the night. Werewolves perhaps?

Sookie’s brother Jason (Ryan Kwanten) will have a separate story from the rest of them, at least for the first six episodes or so. His character has joined up with the anti-vampire church, The Fellowship of the Sun, which is sort of a story that’s downplayed a bit in the book itself. Eventually, after their dealings in Dallas, Sookie returns back home and will find everything turned upside down and in a state of ruin and it will piss her off, leading her to try and set things straight. The cast is busy filming episode 7 at the moment, and Ball himself said that he will be writing episode 11.

During the Q & A, the entire cast seems to express their love for their job and their roles. Carrie Preston loved how her character Arlene always speaks her mind. Rutina Wesley, for whom this is her first real acting gig, loves Tara’s loyalty and good nature. Alexander Skarsgard says that he thinks Eric is a “sweetheart” to those he’s friends with, but that he’s just not friends with many people. Sam Trammell, who plays Sam on the show, admitted that his least favorite scene to shoot was the “running naked through the woods” scene. “It’s tough to watch yourself naked. But running? That’s tough to watch,” laughed Trammel. “And it was tough to do because I was running naked in beige colored jazz shoes.”

Paquin herself loved the scene when Sam wakes up naked on Sookie’s bed, and the whole “shapeshifter” story. She also made a joking reference to the men’s “sock,” or “sack of destiny” as they refer to it on the set – which is the cover-up apparatus that the men dawn when they’re in the buff. She also admitted to really loving getting the sh*t kicked out of her. Or being projectile vomited on by a vampire. Stephan Moyer really enjoyed the history behind Bill and the backstory that he got to shoot which took place during The Civil War. “As an English schoolboy, you don’t learn about The American Civil War. Or Independence Day. I never knew what that was for.”

Carrie Preston’s husband, Lost’s Michael Emerson, was also in attendance, and I even got to hear him, on my way out, speaking to another gentlemen about his own desire to get a role on True Blood, possibly after Lost concludes. I would assume, since he has expressed his longing to be back home with his family in interviews, that he would love to share the screen with his wife.

E Online............

Will Sookie dump Bill for Eric?

Despite the fact that True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are a rock-solid twosome in real life, the show's Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle was the question of the hour as the cast and producers of HBO's vampire drama hit the Paley Center for Media's 25th Annual TV Festival Monday night.

Happily, Blood boss Alan Ball and his stars, including Paquin and Alexander Skarsgård, dished to us exclusively on the red carpet about the Viking vampire getting a hot spotlight, who's getting a serious beatdown and who's playing with the new supernatural creatures.

Moyer even told us his real feelings about the other man leering at his lady...Get our exclusive interview goodies about HBO's True Blood.

Alan Ball, executive producer

Anna won a Golden Globe for playing Sookie over the hiatus—what are you doing to up the ante and keep her challenged?

Anna loves it when she's getting beaten up or kicked or smacked around, and lucky for her, Charlaine Harris put a lot of that stuff in the second book.

Does Sookie interact with the new supernatural creatures much this season?

She spends the first half of the season focusing on vampires and vampire politics in Dallas, as a sort of favor to Eric, and she spends the last half of the season cleaning up the mess that some new supernatural creatures have created in her town—and she is pissed. She is not going to take it anymore.

And what changes about Eric this time around?

Eric has more of a presence in season two—you get a little of his backstory, you find out a bit of what's important to him, what is meaningful to him, what makes him cry.

Alexander Skarsgård (Eric Northman)

How are you playing Eric differently this year?

Everything becomes more private and personal in season two. In season one, the situation started out being business-related, and Eric's attraction to Sookie was "All right, I might use this." But the stuff between them now is much more personal. He's very much emotionally involved now. And I'm not just talking about his relationship between Eric and Sookie and Bill, but other things as well. A lot of the fans who have read book two, they know that the reason they go to Dallas is because Eric's maker has gone missing. That's a very, very personal quest for him.

What about reports that you'll play Thor in the major motion picture version of Thor?

No, I don't think so. I haven't gotten the call, so...

Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse)

What does the mission to Dallas mean for Sookie's situation in Bon Temps?

I haven't seen any further in the scripts than from when we come back from Dallas, so I don't know what we're doing in Bon Temps.

And does Jason get into trouble again this season?

He gets into different kinds of trouble this season, because he's off with his church.

How are you feeling about the Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle right now?

It's really only just sort of slightly hinted at, as of yet—we're shooting seven right now. But Eric's definitely leering down from his heights.

Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton)

How does Bill feel about Eric moving in on his lady?

That's a good question. I'm not going to lie, when I see those little things in the script, those little moments when Eric's pouting at her from across the room, I'm like, I'm going to have a word with that scamp later. It does make me step back a little bit and be upset, which is exactly how Bill reacts as well..."F--ker."

Some New Season 2 Pics.....

Photobucket
Jason Stackhouse with Sarah Newlin of the Fellowship of the Sun. Not quite sure this is going to go over to well with Sookie...lol
Photobucket
George and Sarah Newlin of the Fellowship of the Sun. I can honestly say there is such a thing as too much yellow.
Photobucket
New waitress at Merlotte's. Looks a bit scared to me...lol
Photobucket
Arlene and I am guessing the same new waitress as seen above. Arlene looks as though she is not liking the conversation, guess we will have to see what this is all about.
Photobucket
Maryanne dancing and having fun at Merlotte's. The last time we saw her, Sam didn't look to happy to see her. So wondering what is up here?
Photobucket
Pam, Eric and Chow vamping out at something or someone. What happened to that sexy long hair look Eric???
Photobucket
Bill and Sookie. Damn he looks good, and is that a Fangtasia t-shirt she is wearing???...lol

Photobucket
Jessica and Bill. Looks like he is trying to have Jessica mainstream again and see which True Blood is her type.
Photobucket
Sookie and Bill. Sookie with the new wavy hair look we saw at the end of Season 1, and she doesn't look like Bill is telling her any good news.
Photobucket
Sam Tara, and Sookie looking at Lafayettes corpse in the back seat of Andy Bellfluer's car. Wonder why he was getting all that money together still.
