Meet The Other Covens and Nomads Of The Twilight World
Summit Entertainment announced today the following have been cast in THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN for roles inThe Denali Coven, The Amazon Coven, The Egyptian Coven, The Irish Coven and The Romanian Coven as well as the American and European Nomads as outlined below.
Carmen - Mia Maestro
Kate - Casey LaBow
Tanya - MyAnna Buring
Irina - Maggie Grace
Sasha - Andrea Powell
The Denalis are among the few vegetarian vampires in the world, along with the Cullens. They are very close to the Cullens, being some of the Cullens' most loyal allies and considering themselves their extended family. The Denali Coven is located in Denali, Alaska so that its members can live alongside humans without too much trouble.
Originally, the coven consisted of Sasha and her "daughters", Tanya, Kate and Irina. At an unknown time, Sasha also secretly created an immortal child, Vasilii. When the Volturi found out, they came to destroy the entire group, but only killed Vasilii and Sasha, since the others knew nothing about him.
At some point, the vampires Carmen and Eleazar found the three sisters and joined them. Also at an unknown time, they met the Cullen family, and the two covens became strong allies and close friends. Tanya developed romantic feelings for Edward Cullen, but he did not reciprocate.
A half-year later, Irina decided to visit the Cullens and finally make peace with them about Laurent's death. When she arrived in Forks, however, she saw Bella hunting with her shape-shifter friend, Jacob Black, and what appeared to be an immortal child (Renesmee). Remembering Sasha's fate and her anger at the Cullens for not avenging Laurent's death, she went to the Volturi and reported the Cullens. The rest of the Denalis were once again called upon by the Cullens for aid. Renesmee, the child Irina had seen, was really Bella and Edward's hybrid daughter. The Denalis, after some persuasion, agreed to testify this for the Cullens against the Volturi. When She relizes she was wrong, she refuses to renounce the Cullens to Cias, who has her destroyed in his attempt to start the fight between the Volturi and The Cullens as well as thier allies.
Senna – Tracey Heggins
Zafrina – Judi Shekoni
Among the oldest vampires in the world, Senna and Zafrina are descendants of an ancient Amazonian tribe. They have lived outside of civilization for centuries and therefore make no attempt to keep up a human facade. Though they drink human blood, the Amazons have long been allies of Carlisle.
THE EGYPTIAN COVEN
Amun – Omar Metwally
Kebi – Andrea Gabriel
Benjamin – Rami Malek
Tia – Angela Sarafyan
The Egyptian Coven consists of Amun, Kebi, Benjamin, and Tia, with Amun as the leader. It is stated that even though they are not a biological family, they could pass for one. Amun is extremely protective of his family and fearful of Aro.
THE IRISH COVEN
Maggie – Marlane Barnes
Siobhan – Lisa Howard
Liam – Patrick Brennan
The Irish Coven, a relatively young group, was founded by Siobhan and Liam, but Maggie’s talent made her an important element of it. They are not vegetarian but they are civilized.
THE ROMANIAN COVEN
Vladimir – Noel Fisher
Stefan – Guri Weinberg
The Romanian Coven is one of the oldest covens in the world and they were the ruling vampire family until they were unseated by the Volturi. For that reason they harbor a centuries old resentment of the Italian coven.
THE AMERICAN NOMADS
Garrett – Lee Pace
Mary – Toni Trucks
Randall – Bill Tangradi
Peter – Erik Odom
Charlotte – Valorie Curry
Turned during the Revolutionary War, Garrett has chosen to live a nomadic existence, wandering the world on his own. Garrett has never lost the rebellious spirit of his human life, and loves a good fight, always rooting for the underdog. Though not a vegetarian, Garrett is among Carlisle’s closest and oldest friends.
Mary and Randall are American nomadic vampires.
Peter and Charlotte are nomadic vampires and mates. They were created during the aftermath of the Southern Vampire Wars, in which Jasper was a key player. They have remained friends with Jasper ever since.
THE EUROPEAN NOMADS
Alistair – Joe Anderson
A nomadic vampire from England, Alistair has a misanthropic, brooding personality and a deep mistrust of all authority. Although he counts Carlisle as his closest acquaintance, he doesn’t visit more than once a century.

Fiona Shaw Joins cast in Season 4 True Blood
Irish actress Fiona Shaw has been cast as the new character “Marnie”, reports Deadline. Fiona Shaw is probably best known in the U.S. for her role as Aunt Petunia in the Harry Potter movies.
Marnie is a mousy, timid and secretly self loathing storefront medium and palm reader who is taken over by the spirit of a powerful witch.
The character was originally envisioned younger but is being adjusted for Shaw. Shaw is currently onstage at Dublin’s Abbey Theatre in a limited engagement of Henrik Ibsen’s John Gabriel Borkman opposite Alan Rickman and Lindsay Duncan. On U.S. television, she previosly co-starred on ABC’s limited series Empire.

Now if you have read the books you know that the head witch's name is Hallow, So could Ball be using Hallow as the spirit of the Powerful witch that posseses marnie?? Guess we will have to wait and see!!!

Franklin Is Indeed Dead!!! Final Dead That Is!
James Frain has confirmed that his True Blood character is dead.
Frain appeared in the third season as the vampire Franklin Mott, who was shot by Jason (Ryan Kwanten) with a wooden bullet.
Frain has now told Entertainment Weekly that he does not think he could return to the show.
"He's done," he said. "Dead. Gone. Once they goo you, there's no coming back from that. Goo equals gone."
However, Frain admitted that he loved working on the series, saying: "He was such a great character and he was the most fun to play ever, but I think part of what made it so fun was that it was a contained ride. When you've got someone that psycho, where is he going to go next?
"There's something cool about the fact that it was like a hit and run. But I do miss him."

Dying For Daylight Video Game
Will the gameplay be hidden object adventure similar to I-play's The Great Gatsby game?
Tony: Yes, I would say it's much more adventure than hidden object. Jane Jensen is the designer, and Jane's credentials as a game designer are obviously well-known, particularly on the adventure side, but Gamezebo readers will know her work from the Women's Murder Club and Agatha Christie games, as well as Dead Time Stories and Dr. Lynch of her own creation, so I would say it leans much more heavily on the adventure side but with some hidden object gameplay as well.
Can you give us any hints or sneak peeks about the plot?
Tony: The general arc for the plot is that the leader of Dahlia's nest, Cedric, has been made aware that there is potentially a potion that exists that allows vampires to exist among the daylight, which obviously in the world that Charlaine Harris has created is strictly not an option for vampires - they die. So it's obviously of great interest to Dahlia for a number of reasons, not the least among them is that she gets to go shopping during the day if she can figure this out.
So she is sent by Cedric to New Orleans to look into this series of murders that have gone on in that area that they think might be related to the existence of this potion. So she starts to dig into this vampire circus troupe called Le Cirque Terrible and meets a variety of colorful and interesting characters there as she digs deeper and deeper into the mystery of this potion and whether it exists and do they have the ingredients and so forth.
Any final words for your readers and fans?
Charlaine: Well I hope that the people who love the books will be interested in at least trying this game as an off-shoot of my world. I've certainly found it to be very entertaining and I'm not a gamer, so I hope other people come away with the same experience.
Tony: I would say the same thing. One of the things that makes us really excited about working with Charlaine is the ability to take these characters that she's created and use them to not only appeal to the existing casual game audience but to transcend that audience and reach out to the millions of fans of her printed work and bring them into a casual game experience that we think they're really going to love.

Catch .44 to Include Twilight and True Blood Cast
When Nikki stopped by to chat about her upcoming Indie “Last Day of Summer,” we asked her if she and Woll connected over their blood bonds. (Pun totally intended)
“We’re both equally fascinated by I think the passion behind the admiration for vampires,” Nikki explained. “I really love ‘True Blood’ and I envy her. I would do anything to have a guest spot on the show, hint hint,” she said with a wink.
“That’s what we talked about most,” Nikki added. “She was talking about ‘Twilight,’ and I was commenting on her show, and what we like about each other’s work, and I think that she wins.”
We then suggested that we should get Nikki on the “True Blood” set to do some reconnaissance, but she revealed that she and Deborah have already planned it out:
“I’m going to visit her on the set one day, coincidentally, and be like ‘Hey Alan! Alan Ball, how are ya? … You know it could be funny because I’m in ‘Twilight,’ that could be funny?’ I don’t think they’ll go for it,” Nikki said. “[But] I’m willing to push myself.”
And the kicker, for us (especially since this writer favors the warm-blooded weres over the vamps), would Nikki consider playing against type and tackling the role of a shifter, were or other being?
“I think I would like to try being a werewolf,” she said.

Vampire Diaries Season 2 - The Return, Synopsis
Thursday, August 19, 2010
The Gates: Pilot
Young Emily Radcliff chases her runaway skateboard into the street. A pickup truck barrels toward her. The driver swerves at the last possible moment. CRASH! The truck smashes into a cement pillar. Emily is fine but the driver, a contractor heading out of this quiet suburban community, has a bloody gash on his head.
Emily's mom, Claire Radcliff (Rhona Mitra), tends to the injured man inside her home. The contractor wants this married mom to kiss more than just his boo-boo. This guy has thirst for passion, but Claire has a thirst for blood. Fangs emerge as she bites down on the man's neck. The contractor is dead. Claire, however, looks as though she's been reborn.
Nick Monohan (Frank Grillo) is an ex-Chicago homicide cop with a troubled past. He's also the next Chief of Police at The Gates. His wife, Sarah (Marisol Nichols), hopes to start a new life in their beautiful new home. Their kids, Charlie (Travis Caldwell) and Dana, will hopefully fit in with the cliques their new upscale school.
Nick meets a couple of the officers in his charge, Marcus Jordan (Justin Miles) and Leigh Turner (Janina Gavankar) at their state-of-the-art police station. Video surveillance shows the crash that occurred in front of the Radcliff house. Marcus tells his new boss that the driver's hometown police department recently identified him as a missing person. Maybe Nick's new town isn't as peaceful as he thought.
Claire Radcliff decides to welcome Sarah Monohan to the neighborhood by bringing her a tasty high-carb meal. She lathers herself in lotion before stepping outside. Apparently, Claire burns big time if hit by sunlight. When hubby Dylan Radcliff (Luke Mably) returns home, he senses something is amiss. It probably has something to do that dead body and bottled blood Claire's storing in the wine room.
Dylan is totally ticked at his wife for her earlier indiscretion. His concern is primarily for Emily. He says, "Adopted little girls... they do not survive out there. Not with our crowd." When Nick questions the Radcliffs, he's not satisfied with Claire's story. Dylan knows they need to get rid of the body.
Claire drugs the guard at the main gate with cookies so the contractor's truck is seen leaving on video, driver unseen. They dump the body near a lake outside of town, but not before Dylan bears his fangs. He tears into the driver, ripping him to shreds. It has to look like wolves were responsible for this mutilation.
Sarah meets Devon (Chandra West), the owner of a local day spa, who gives her some special tea to help with her stress. This upsets a holistic physician named Peg Mueller (Victoria Platt), who tells Devon they are supposed to help people with their problems, not exploit them. We're wondering just what's in Devon's tea, especially after Claire asks Peg to give her something for her "cravings." Devon overhears the request and says she helped a local lady forget they saw Claire put the contractor's truck in her garage. Hmm.
At the Gates Academy, Charlie meets a cute girl named Andie Bates (Skyler Samuels). There's an instant attraction. That doesn't sit well with Andie's boyfriend Brett Crezski (Colton Haynes), who takes out his frustrations during football practice with a bone-crushing tackle on a teammate. Brett seems to have strength that goes beyond that of a typical teen. He also lets out a nasty little growl when he's angry.
A classmate, Lukas, wants Brett to run with him as part of his pack. A wolf pack, perhaps? Brett knows it's a violation of the rules to do something like that inside The Gates. But all bets are off on the outside. Guess that's why Brett transforms into a vicious wolf when he catches Charlie in a secret rendezvous with Andie. Lukas tackles him before he can act; convincing Brett that now is not the time for his vengeance.
A still-suspicious Nick wants a warrant to search the Radcliff house. Frank Buckley, the man who developed The Gates and Devon's ex-husband, makes it clear that the residents in his community like their privacy. The search warrant is denied. Though he's still unsure, Nick promised his wife he'd try to change his suspicious ways. He reluctantly closes the Radcliff case.
Nick gets a late night call. A body has been discovered on the outskirts of town. If you're thinking it's the missing contractor, think again. Nick doesn't recognize this particular dead guy. However, Marcus and Leigh do. It's their old boss, AKA the former Chief of Police. Welcome to The Gates.

I Am So Looking Forward To This Issue!!!
The following are escerpts from the upcoming magazine article that appears in this issue.
The idea of celibate vampires is ridiculous, True Blood creator Alan Ball says. “To me, vampires are sex,” he says. “I don’t get a vampire story about abstinence. I’m 53. I don’t care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed.” On his show, every available orifice is used for intercourse: gay, straight, between humans and supernatural beings, and supernatural being on supernatural being, whether he be werewolf, dog or an enormous Minotaur-looking being called a maenad. None of the sex is quite as good as vampire sex, though, which can happen at the astonishing rhythm of 120 bpm while simultaneously devouring one’s neck and making your eyes roll back into your head. Says Stephen Moyer — who plays Bill Compton, the undead Southern Civil War Veteran — “If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before. It’s a de-virginization — breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there’s something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that’s pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive.” He laughs a little. “Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?”
Stephen on the allure of vampires: “If we go from a base level, vampires create a hole in the neck where there wasn’t one before. It’s a de-virginization – breaking the hymen, creating blood and then drinking the virginal blood. And there’s something sharp, the fang, which is probing and penetrating and moving into it. So that’s pretty sexy. I think that makes vampires attractive. (laughs) Plus, Robert Pattinson is just hot, right?”
Anna on the doctor that suggested that she she close the gap between her teeth: “Somewhere between the doctor putting his finger in my mouth and saying that he could fix it for me, I was like, ‘Yeah, and I could bite your finger right now.’ ”
Anna on announcing her bisexuality: ““I’m not sure what the reaction was, but I’m glad I did it. There’s such an impulse to turn it into a sensational thing, when what I was really hoping to say is that it’s normal and not interesting. (smiles) I feel so lucky right now. Life is pretty great.”
Anna on not minding the vampire bites she endures: “I’ve had 10 piercings in my ear, and a bellybutton pierce, and a tongue ring. My tongue, as it turns out, is not really appropriate for piercing, because the webbing is too close to the front, and the bottom barbell kept hitting against my teeth – clank, clank, clank. And it gave me a lisp, which isn’t great as an actress.”
Stephen on getting the callback for True Blood the same day his apartment was burglarized: “When you have things stolen, you become much more aware of what’s important – f—ing take the camera if you want, but don’t take the tape that’s in it. I lost all those sex tapes, the ones of me giving head when I was young. That was supposed to be my meal ticket.”
“True Blood” creator Alan Ball said he wouldn’t have it any other way, regardless of how many fictional awkward teen girls spring forth to pine for their sex-refusing vampire boyfriends. If it’s about vampires, Ball told Rolling Stone, it’s got to have some sex.
“To me, vampires are sex,” Ball told the magazine. “I don’t get a vampire story about abstinence. I’m 53. I don’t care about high school students. I find them irritating and uninformed.”
Anna Paquin, for one, admits to wearing a “patch” – a piece of attire that resembles a thong with the sides cut off – when she’s got to film a nude scene as her alter-ego Sookie Stackhouse. For men, there’s the “sock” option to cover the goods.
But while Stephen Moyer, who plays Sookie’s vampire lover Bill Compton, wears a sock on set (not that he has “anything to hide,” he assured Rolling Stone)
Alexander Skarsgard, who portrays the vampire Eric Northman, wants nothing to do with the tube of modesty. “I don’t want a sock around it, it feels ridiculous,” Skarsgard said to Rolling Stone. “If we’re naked in the scene, then I’m naked. I’ve always been that way.”
Alan Ball says: “Working on ‘Six Feet Under’ could sometimes be depressing, but ‘True Blood’ is very different,” Ball said of his two series, (the former of which came to an end in 2005). “It’s about archetypes, the subconscious, mythology and wish-fulfillment. I’m like a kid going to the playground everyday.”
Moyer puts in his perspective on his real-life relationship with Paquin: “We pretty much consider ourselves married now, even though we aren’t yet.”

Saying Our Goodbye To Talbot
Obviously, I think we can all agree that Russell Edgington's long time companion, husband, lover, and friend was as handsome as ever with his Mediterranean complexion and his slicked back long dark curls, not to forget those piercing blue eyes. But Talbot was more then just good looks.
Talbot had an exquisite taste in decor and a wonderful pallet for the culinary aspect of how his blood was prepared and served:
Let us not forget his love for century old ancient relics as well as his utmost respect and regard of his household, even though others around him did not:
How he made us laugh at all of his comments and temper tantrums:
Remember how we all felt sorry for Russell when he felt his beloved be taken away from him forever?! Even after decades of marital problems, Talbot was Russell's beloved and he broke down (and went completely berserk)at the site of Talbot's remains:
As you have just seen, Poor Russell has lost his mind over the loss of Talbot....lol
There are even tons of items over at the Billsbabes shop sporting Team Talbot!!!
So as we are all sad to have to see Talbot go, and to see the king of Mississippi loose the slightest bit of sanity he had left. I shall end this post with a tribute for the Celtic/Greek extravagant couple. Goodbye Talbot/Theo Alexander! You have captivated us and you will be sorely missed. RIP in your final death:
