You Smell Like Dinner

Poor Jason finds himself in trouble yet again, tied to a bed, however this time it is no laughing matter. One of the were-panthers named Timbo is licking a cut on Jason’s head while another Hot Shot member watches on the side. Jason talks the two teens into letting him go but they are interrupted by Felton who bursts open the door with a shotgun and points it at Jason.

Over at Sookie’s House, or should I say Eric’s house, Eric makes an offer to Sookie. After telling her what she smells and tastes like, he tells her that other vampires will eventually find out about her and that she will need protection in which he offers to do just that if she would be his. Although sookie hears what Eric has to say to her, she refuses his offer.

In Shreveport at Fangtasia, Hoyt, Jessica, and Pam leave Fangtasia only to be greeted by Fellowship of the Sun protestors. Trying to pick a fight, they call Hoyt a fang banger and when Hoyt tries to defend his girlfriend, they reveal they are recording everything. One of the protestors shoves Hoyt and Hoyt punches him in the face which causes all of the others to join in to help beat Hoyt. Pam has to restrain Jessica from helping because of the video recording when she says that technology has taken all the fun out of being a vampire.

Back at King Compton’s Katerina, the Wiccan spy, tells Bill all what happened at the Moon Goddess Emporium. He tells her that her under cover assignment is now too dangerous to continue. She asks if she can procure someone for him, he refuses and takes her to bed instead. Sookie starts to walk over to Bill’s house to find it completely renovated and is seized by guards once she reaches the grounds. Bill knowing that it is Sookie allows his guards to let her through. She enters the house only to find Bill and Katerina getting dressed in his bedroom and realizes she has interrupted something when the girl leaves revealing the bite marks on her neck. Sookie, containing her jealousy, asks Bill for help to regain her house from Eric. He tells her he will try to help but that he cannot make any promises that Eric will relinquish the house, before Sookie’s departure, she turns to ask Bill how he became king only to say never mind that she was better off not knowing.

Eric is summoned to Bill’s where Bill asks and tries to convince Eric to give up Sookie’s house to either Sookie or himself but Eric refuses. Then Bill tells Eric about the witch coven that is there in Bon Temps and orders him to take care of it, when he says that he will have Pam take care of it, Bill stresses the seriousness that these witches are practicing necromancy. Eric, after hearing this news, agrees to take care of it himself and departs making fun of Bill’s advancement onto the throne.

Bill has a flashback to 1982 in London at a punk bar. It is then that we find that is the first encounter Bill has with Nan Flanagan and she recruits him into the AVL to infiltrate the current vampire Queen of Louisiana to help with the mainstreaming of vampires. Then it is revealed on what happened between Queen Sophie Ann and Bill. In the middle of their fight, armed AVL guards enter the house and shoot Sophie Ann with wooden bullets lined with a silver core. After the demise of Sophie Ann, Nan Flanagan enters to congratulate Bill and appointed him King.

Out in the woods after a nice run as a horse, Sam catches up to fellow shifter Luna and connects with her. Right before they kiss, Luna gets up and runs away. The next day Sam walks into his office only to be greeted by Luna who apologizes for leaving so abruptly the night before and explains that she has a past that she is reluctant on sharing with anyone. She does tell him that she likes him and wants to let him in and even though she is scared she will try to let him in. Later that night Sam is at his little shifter group and Luna reveals that she is not only a shape shifter but that she is a skin walker, someone that can change into another human being, but only after they’ve killed off a member of their family which her mother died giving birth to her. After that moment they all smell another shifter nearby, Sam knowing that it is his brother Tommy, takes off saying he will handle it. After catching up with Tommy, Sam confronts him and Tommy explains that he wants them to be brothers again. Knowing that neither of them trusts each other, they do agree to at least try.

Jessica emerges from her cubby hole to find Hoyt sitting on the couch with ice on his face from all the bruises he acquired the night before at Fangtasia’s. Jessica offers her blood so he can heal faster but he refuses saying he doesn’t need it and offends her by it. She becomes angry and leaves with Hoyts truck to go get him some aspirin. When it comes time to turn to head to the pharmacy, she instead turns the opposite way and heads to Fangtasia instead. When she arrives she sees the fang banger that came up to her the previous night, she pursues him and ends up in the bathroom with him where she feeds on him.

In the meantime, Sookie is there to ask Pam if she would help her situation with Eric. Pam flat out tells her that she should take Eric’s offer because of what she is before someone finds out about her and comes for her. Still not convinced, Sookie continues to say no and asks to wait there for Eric. She ends up going into the bathroom where she over hears Jessica and tries to talk to her about what she is doing. Jessica, being angry with Sookie, tells her to mind her own business and tells her to leave her alone.

Tara returns to Bon Temps to see for herself that Sookie is alive but when Sookie sees that Eric built a tricked out hidey hole in her house and had to leave to go to Fangtasia, she went over to visit her cousin Lafayette.

He and Jesus were on their way to the Moon Goddess Emporium, Tara joins them there and is as skeptical as Lafayette. Eric bursts in through the door and tells Marnie that she and her coven are no longer allowed to convene. When Marnie refuses, Eric attacks her but is interrupted when Tara comes into the store. When he goes to attack Tara, Marnie and the other witches, including Lafayette join together to chant in summoning the dead. Eric all of the sudden looks stunned and Marnie’s face changes in and out with a face of a fierce spirit. Eric then retracts his fangs and leaves the Store.

Back in Hot Shot, Crystal and Felton reveal their plans to Jason. Since Felton is not able to get Crystal pregnant to keep their kind going, they tell him that they are going to make him a panther so he and Crystal can be together and have a baby of their own. The two of them shift into panthers and start to continuously bite Jason in an attempt to turn him into a were panther as well.

Sookie is driving on her way home where she sees Eric on the side of the road shirtless. She calls to him but he does not know who she is. Confused by Eric’s behavior, she tries to tell him who she is. Eric then catches her scent and asks her why she smells so good.
