He Just Wants To Be Loved....
True Blood star Marshall Allman has suggested that his character Tommy just wants to be loved.
Tommy, who is Sam's brother, is currently staying with Hoyt's mother Maxine (Dale Raoul).
"What he wants deep down is a family," Allman told TV Guide. "He wants to be loved, so that relationship just serves both of their needs.
"Max feels abandoned by Hoyt, and Tommy, even though he left his mom, feels abandoned by his mom because she chose her husband, my dad, over me."
Allman revealed that Tommy will do something morally ambiguous in an attempt to rebuild his relationship with Sam (Sam Trammell).
"Sam and Tommy are trying to see if one another is trustworthy to be brothers," he explained. "That's what we're working toward."
Allman added that "Team Tommy is on the rise" but continued: "Whenever he does these things, he's not getting away with it. It's not like he doesn't miss out on what's coming to him. He gets what he deserves."
Allman also teased that a new supernatural entity could cause problems for Tommy and Sam in the future.
"There's a new animal that's going to kind of rock everything and shift the dynamic of the show because, as of this point, all of the animals have been kind of non-consequential," he said. "But the new animal is going to be game-changing."
