Chris Bauer Talks Andy Bellefluer
Chris Bauer has suggested that the fourth season of True Blood will surprise viewers.
Bauer, who plays Andy, claimed that it is "an especially great year for the fans".
"It's just a really nice kind of ideal combination of all the highlights of the first three seasons in terms of story, character and sensibility," he told the New York Post.
"There's some great twists where people you've come to know a certain way reveal something about themselves that are genuinely surprising. It's one of the glories of making it to the fourth season - we can start to play with your expectations of the characters and really surprise you with where they go."
Bauer also dropped some hints about what is to come for Andy, saying: "This year, Andy makes great strides towards evolving in a little more complicated way and finding out his biographical detail and getting him involved more with others."
However, he joked that he does not want to have any nude scenes on the show.
"I have been cold staring at my trainer asking when these last ten pounds are coming off because, no pun intended, I do not want to get caught with my pants down!" he said. "And honest to God, we had a read-through of the 12th episode the other day and between Ryan [Kwanten], Alex SkarsgÄrd, Joe Manganiello and Steve Moyer... anyone would just give up and go straight to McDonalds. It's impossible to compete with those guys."
